Shelter animals often have low selfesteem and fear issues due to abuse and sub-standard conditions that they have been subjected to, where the results are fearing certain situations and objects in which normal domestic pets take for granted, such as crossing through a doorway or going up a couple of steps.

In an effort to help HSMC trainers work with the shelter animals, AFA participants collaborated in creative design and in construction of interactive stations, which will help the animals conquer fears, build confidence and develop trust in humans, so they will be ready for adoption into their permanent homes.

Weather you’re an architect, engineer, contractor, vendor, supplier or supporter, please join us as we embark on this meaningful community collaboration...we need your participation!
