Leader Design Studio is a Sarasota, Florida-based architecture firm known for its modern residential, restaurant and boutique commercial design.  We are seeking a recent architecture school graduate or individual with 1-5 years of professional architecture experience to join us.

Candidates should possess strong conceptual design abilities and have a willingness to make a significant contribution to the development of our projects through drawing, detailing and 3D modeling.

We have an open design studio culture that is both collaborative and multi-disciplinary. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to self-manage work on several projects at the same time is imperative.

The ideal candidate should have experience or a strong interest in modern architecture, and be well-versed in the preparation of schematic design and construction drawings using REVIT.  We are, however, willing to teach the right candidate.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborate with Principal & Project Architects from conceptual design through construction completion
  • Develop designs, test ideas and create architectural solutions as a team within the studio
  • Prepare presentation materials, construction drawings, details and 3D models independently and with guidance from other studio members


  • B.Arch, B.S.Arch, B.A.Arch or M.Arch Degree
  • Portfolio demonstrating design work. Recent graduates may show academic projects.
  • Ability to discuss, develop and communicate ideas with verbal and graphic clarity.
  • Adequate technical experience to develop design development and construction document drawings.
  • Proficiency in REVIT, SketchUP and the Adobe Creative Suite is preferable.
  • Experience in creating photorealistic architectural renderings is a plus.
