Sweet Sparkman Architects, a successful and growing architecture firm in Sarasota, Florida, and recipient of the AIA Florida 2018 Firm of the Year, is seeking a Project Architect / Designer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and drawing production for a range of residential, commercial and civic project types
• Produce high-quality construction documents under the direction of Project Manager and Principal
• Coordinate drawing production work with engineering consultants
• Perform Construction Administration duties
• Collaborate with architectural and administrative team members within the office
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Professional Degree in Architecture (or equivalent professional experience)
• 1 - 5 years of professional experience
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit required
• Excellent written, oral and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to collaborate with others in a deadline-driven environment
• Proactive attitude

Job is full-time, and salary is commensurate with experience.

Intern Architect (11/19/19)

TROP Architecture is an architecture and interior design firm focused on providing unique, environmentally responsive design to our clients.  Our creative and collaborative team is seeking for an Intern Architect with a minimum of 2 years of architectural working experience.   Minimum B. Arch education required. The position requires thoughtful design, development and detailing skills as well as critical thinking. Applicants should possess the ability to produce quality construction drawings. Experience in coastal residential and boutique commercial projects is preferred. The ideal candidate is proactive, a self-starter, and has the ability to work independently as well as in a team focused setting.

Proficiency required with:
AutoCAD / Sketchup
